Understanding Admin Analytics in Enterprise Hub

Admin Analytics provides Enterprise Hub administrators with insights into how their organization uses Screencastify. 
 
From a single dashboard, you can review organizational activity, explore content trends, compare performance with similar organizations, and discover opportunities to increase engagement.


Who Can Access Admin Analytics?

Admin Analytics is available exclusively to organization administrators with an Enterprise Hub subscription.
Non-admin users and organizations on other subscription plans cannot access this feature.


Accessing Your Analytics Dashboard

  1. Sign in to your Screencastify account.
  2. Navigate to Account Management.
  3. Select the Analytics tab.
  4. Review your organization's performance dashboard.

Understanding Your Analytics

Your dashboard provides several types of insights to help you understand how Screencastify is being used across your organization.
 

Organizational Performance

Review high-level metrics that provide an overview of organizational activity and engagement.

Leaderboards and Benchmarks

Explore performance leaderboards and compare your organization's metrics with those of similarly sized organizations.

These comparisons can help identify areas where your organization is performing well and opportunities for improvement.

Content Type Breakdown

See a breakdown of the types of content your organization creates.

This information can help you better understand how members of your organization use Screencastify.

Personalized Insights and Recommendations

Admin Analytics provides insights based on your organization's activity, including usage of:
  • Video assignments and submissions
  • AI Questions
  • Translation
  • Comments
  • Folders and content organization
You may also receive recommendations to explore features such as Transform, LMS, Quiz, and AI Questions.

Improving Organizational Engagement

Depending on your organization's activity, Admin Analytics may suggest actions to help increase participation.

For example, you may be able to:
  • Identify users who have never signed in.
  • Send reminders encouraging users to access their accounts.
  • Explore recommendations for creating announcement videos.
  • Identify opportunities for additional training and feature adoption.

Understanding Reporting Limitations

Admin Analytics is designed to provide a high-level overview rather than detailed, customizable reporting.
Keep the following limitations in mind:
  • Reporting periods: Data is available for the last 12 months or all-time.
  • No advanced filtering: You cannot filter analytics by individual months or specific user roles.
  • Limited activity: Organizations with little or no activity may see limited information or empty sections.
  • Supplemental reporting: Admin Analytics does not replace existing Customer Success or LMS reports.

Troubleshooting

"I don't see the Analytics tab."

Confirm that you're signed in as an organization administrator and that your organization has an Enterprise Hub subscription.

If you meet both requirements and the tab is missing, contact Support.

"My dashboard shows little or no data."

Organizations with limited activity may not have enough information to populate every dashboard section.

"Can I view analytics for a specific month or user role?"

Not currently. Admin Analytics supports the last 12 months and all-time reporting periods without additional drill-down filters.

"Why am I seeing recommendations for certain features?"

Recommendations are based on your organization's activity and are intended to help you discover features that may improve engagement.
