Question: Why are my audio and video out of sync?
Answer: Screen recording is an inherently CPU-intensive process. Therefore, some inconsistencies between audio and visual inputs are possible if you have a lot of competing programs, applications, and processes running while you're recording.
Ways to reduce inconsistencies:
- Close all other tabs or applications
- Restart your computer
- If possible, record your browser tab instead of your entire desktop (tab recordings use fewer resources)
- Limit your recording resolution
- Set your computer to "high performance." Open your computer's control panel and select "Power Settings." Make sure your power setting is set to "High performance."
