Answer: In order to record the audio from all parties in a video call you will need to change your audio settings before beginning the recording.

Due to system limitations imposed by Apple, it's impossible to record system audio on Macs. While there is a workaround, please note that audio recording and quality cannot be guaranteed.
In order to hear the audio coming from both/all parties in a desktop software call on a Mac computer you'll need to select the following audio and recording settings before beginning your recording:
- Select "Desktop" recording
- Toggle "Microphone" audio on
- Unplug headphones
- Press "Record"
NOTE
Recording this way may cause some echoing since you will not be utilizing your headphones to ensure that you're also capturing the audio coming from your computer's speakers. To help mitigate any echo, we suggest turning the volume down to a medium-low level on your device to help.
