Overview

The Transcript feature on the Watch Page enhances accessibility by providing a real-time display of the video’s transcript. This transcript auto-scrolls and highlights the section of text that corresponds to the part of the video currently playing, allowing viewers to follow along seamlessly with the spoken content.

Note: Transcripts are automatically generated for videos when captions are enabled.

Features of Transcripts

• Auto-Scrolling and Highlighting: The transcript will automatically scroll and highlight the text corresponding to the section of the video being played.

• Language Translation: By using the dropdown menu, viewers can translate the transcript into other languages, enabling a wider audience to access and understand the video content.

• Downloading: Currently, there is no option to download transcripts.

Compatibility with YouTube Videos

Note: Transcripts are not yet available for YouTube videos, but we expect this feature to be available by the end of November or the beginning of December.
