The Video Editor allows you to record custom narration directly over your project as it plays. Use a voiceover to add extra context, clarify key points, or replace original audio seamlessly.
- Move the playhead to where you'd like your voiceover to begin.
- Open Audio in the Editor.
- Click Record Voiceover.
- Select the microphone you'd like to use.
- Start recording.
Your video will play while you record, making it easier to match your narration to what's happening on screen. After recording, you can trim, move, or delete your voiceover from the timeline. If your voiceover extends beyond an existing gap, it will automatically be placed in a new audio lane.
