- The most recent version of Google Chrome
- At least 1 GB of free disk space, Screencastify requires at least 1 GB of free disk space to work properly, even if you save your recordings on Google Drive. Learn more here 🥳
- Most non-mobile operating systems (including Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS). Screencastify is not available on mobile devices.
Screencastify is compatible with Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. In fact, it was built specifically to function seamlessly given the particular constraints of a Chromebook.
