Capturing Pop-up Window

When I'm recording either the desktop or one tab, a pop-up window (e.g., file menu) that shows on the screen is not captured in the recording. How can I get the pop-up window to also be recorded?

  Thank you for reaching out! To capture everything on your screen, including pop-up windows, you will want to start a desktop recording. When you get to the "Choose what to share" window, please select "Entire Screen" instead of a specific window. If you record a specific window or a specific tab, pop-ups such as file menus will not be captured.
