Question: How do I use the drawing tools?
Answer: You can use the drawing tools by enabling them in the extension settings before you begin your recording.
To find what you're looking for select the links below:
To enable the drawing tools:
- After opening the extension in the top right corner of your Google Chrome window
- Select "Show more options"
- Toggle "Show Drawing Tools" on
- Press "Record"
There are many different tools to use on the Annotation Toolbar:
- Mouse Options
- The Pen Tool
- The Rectangle Tool
- The Sticker Tool
- The Eraser Tool
- The Pause Button
- The End Recording button
Mouse Options:
There are 4 different mouse options to choose from:
- Circle Clicks
- Focus
- Classic
- Fireworks
To use these options:
- Click on the "Mouse" tool on the Annotation toolbar
- Select which mouse you'd like to use
- Click on "Save Mouse"
The Pen Tool:
- Click on the "Pen" tool on the Annotation Toolbar
- Select the color you'd like to use
- To clear the screen select "Clear Screen"
The Rectangle Tool:
- Click on the "Rectangle" tool on the Annotation Toolbar
- Select the color you would like to use
- To clear your screen select "Clear Screen"
The Sticker Tool:
- Click on the "Sticker" tool on the Annotation Toolbar
- Select which sticker(s) you would like to use
- To clear the screen select "Clear Screen"
The Eraser Tool:
- Select the "Eraser" tool on the Annotation Toolbar
- Click and drag the eraser over what you would like to erase
The Pause Button
- You can pause your recording by clicking on the pause icon on the Annotation Toolbar
- To resume your recording select the play icon
The End Recording Button:
You can end your recording by clicking the stop icon on the annotation toolbar
