Creating the Assignment

Title: Record Your Poem (ELA 3-5)

Instructions: Today, we will be recording our poetry!

1. Click the blue button to start Recording
2. Read your poem with lots of expression
3. When you are done, click "Stop Recording"
4. Click "Submit" to share your poem with our class

Share in a Google Slide

With Screencastify Submit, a teacher can give students both an assignment link to record a video and a link to the folder of videos for them to view at any time.

1. Create a Google slide with two links - the first for the assignment and the second for the folder of videos
2. To get a link to the Submit assignment, copy and paste that link from the Submit dashboard into the Google Slide
3. To get a link to the subfolder of videos, click on the submissions link to open the Submit subfolder. Right-click on the subfolder to grant permission for all students to view videos. Copy and paste that link into the Google Slide.
