Editor over several days

We would love our students to use the editing feature of Screencastify. The tools are simple and easy to understand. However, and this will be a show stopper for us, I can not find a way to save a current edited video so that a student can come back later to continue working on it. I know they can export their work but that bakes in the edits thereby losing editing capabilities from the previous session. Please tell me there is a way to accomplish this. Thank you.

  We're so glad to hear you find the editing tools to be simple and easy to understand! Edits made in the Editor are saved automatically when working on one project at a time. You can close the Editor and come back later, and the edited video will still be there. You can also sign out and back in to the Editor without losing your work. If you want to edit multiple projects at once, however, you will need to export one project before starting the next.  When you click "Open in Editor" from the Video Management Page or "Open with Screencastify Video Editor" from Google Drive, that will override the previous video you had been working on in the Editor.
