Dropdown lists not showing on recording

I am recording a screen where I use dropdown lists to choose items. The recording does not show my choosing the item from the dropdown list. The list does not show.

  Hi Cathy, 👋

  Currently, to capture pop up windows (including drop down menus) you will need to make sure you are recording your screen and not just a tab.

  We’ve created a short video to help explain the differences between tab and desktop recordings, which can definitely be confusing and may help clarify what’s happening here. Check it out and please let me know if it does indeed explain your issue.
