STOP, PLEASE.

As a community college teacher, I have used Screencastify for maybe 5 years or so.  It has quadrupled in price since I started using it, and guess what has NOT quadrupled...my income as a teacher.  My school doesn't pay for it, so I pay out of pocket.  Now, when I renewed this year, the features I used to get (exporting to youtube) are part of the "pro" package. I hate being nicked and dimed like this.  I am going to buy the pro-account because I already paid for the non-pro (whatever they call that, basic?) which used to get me all I need, but I will spend this year looking for another screencasting software to use because no doubt the cost will go up again next year.  I am so disappointed in this business model of being charged for features that were previously accessible to me.  I know of now discount for educators.  Disappointing. I used to recommend this to colleagues all the time. Sad.
