What happened to recording the "Full Screen" with Audio for Mac users?

I've used Screencastify for over 5 years, but I am not having the same experience or success.  It has been a few months since I made any recordings.  Last week I found several changes in the interface/menu pop up.  I use a Mac, but never had these issues before.

I used to be able to record the full screen and open different windows as needed while recording audio. Customer support sent me a video that shows a toggle to turn on audio using full screen, but that does not appear for me.

From the information in the help section,  it seems that I am limited to recording audio while using only one window or application, like Power Point.  I am very disappointed.  Does anyone have suggestions besides uninstalling and reinstalling the extension?  I've done all that!
