Feature Request: Default 'Also Share System Audio' Setting and Visual Indicator

Dear Screencastify Team,

I am a frequent user of Screencastify and appreciate the value it brings to recording important sessions such as online meetings and doctor visits. However, I have encountered a recurring issue that I believe could be addressed with a feature improvement.

Feature Request:

1. Default Setting for 'Also Share System Audio':

   • Currently, the "Also share system audio" option must be manually enabled for each recording. It is too easy to miss this step, resulting in audio not being captured.

   • This is particularly problematic for critical recordings, as once the system audio is missed, it cannot be recovered.

   • I would like the ability to set this option as enabled by default in the Screencastify settings.

2. Visual Indicator for System Audio Capture During Recording:

   • A clear, persistent visual indicator during the recording that shows whether system audio is being captured or not.

   • This feature would allow users to catch any mistakes during the session and correct them while the meeting or visit is still underway.

Use Case Example: I frequently use Screencastify to record calls on unsupported platforms like Doxy for telehealth visits when Fathom AI does not integrate with the platform. Missing the "Also share system audio" option has caused significant inconvenience, as the missed audio cannot be recovered, impacting the usefulness of the recording.

Benefits of This Feature:

• Eliminates the risk of losing critical system audio due to a missed setting.

• Provides real-time assurance to users that their recording settings are correct.

• Improves user confidence and satisfaction with the Screencastify platform.
