Prevent students from skipping ahead

Teachers want to prevent students from skipping ahead while viewing videos.

What problem do you see this solving?
This would prevent students from skipping valuable content.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool? What happened? How often does this problem occur and how does this impact your work?
Yesterday. I added questions to a video and added the video to Google Classroom. I used my student account to complete the assignment and was able to skip ahead to the questions without watching the video.

Are you currently using a workaround to solve this problem? 
Our high school teachers have subscriptions to Edpuzzle and tell me that preventing students from skipping ahead is the most useful feature.

What would be your ideal solution to this problem? How would it work or function?
Provide the option for teachers to enable a "Prevent Skipping" feature for all videos. In analytics, show how much time the student spent watching the video.

  Yes, I use Edpuzzle but absolutely would not use it without the Prevent Skipping feature.
