videos are not uploading to YouTube

I have uploaded countless videos straight to youtube but starting last night (4/29/21) when I hit Publish to YouTube, the Uploading popup appears but the status bar never moves.  I restarted chrome, restarted my computer, used a different computer, so far I still can't upload to YouTube.  I can use a workaround of saving, downloading to my computer, adding to YouTube Studio from my computer but wonder why the direct method is no longer working for me.

  Thank you for letting us know about this issue!🧐 Our engineers believe they have pinpointed what was causing this issue and deployed a fix 🥳

  Would you be able to please update your extension and attempt to upload that video to YouTube again to see if it's working? Here's how to update:

  1. Open up your Chrome settings menu (the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your browser) or paste chrome://extensions into your address bar
  2. Scroll down to More Tools -> Extensions
  3. Enable Developer Mode in the top right
  4. Once you do that, click the Update button that appears
