getting a green screen when using webcam

when I use my webcam for recording in screencastify, it records my voice with a blank green screen background.  What Am I doing wrong?

  Some users had reported they were seeing a green screen as the background of their webcam recording. Although the audio was being captured correctly, the webcam recording was not. 😣 

  We have been able to resolve this issue in our most recently released extension version. Here is How to Manually Update Your Chrome Extensions.
