For Screencastify Submit assignments that were created using the Google Classroom assignment type:
you can view the videos submitted by students in four steps:
NOTE: This article applies to Screencastify Submit assignments that have been created with "Google Classroom" as the assignment type (as shown above), not "Classic Submit Link" assignments. For information on how to view Screencastify Submit video submissions using the "Classic Submit Link" assignment creation, please see this article.
Visit your Google Classroom Page
In order to view your Google Classroom submission videos, you will first need to visit your Google Classroom class page for which the assignment was created. You can access this page directly from your Submit dashboard by clicking "View on Classroom", as shown:
Find the Google Classroom Assignment
If you are already on your Google Classroom class page, you can find your assignment via the classroom's "Stream" or "Classwork" view. Just select the assignment you'd like to view.
Find the Student
Choose the student whose video you would like to view and click on it:
View the Video
You will now see a page that displays the video in the center panel, with the information about the files, grades, and private comments in the right panel:
While here, you may:
- view the student's submission history,
- grade their assignment,
- return their assignment,
- leave comments,
- download their video, or
- open the student's video into Screencastify Editor or other connected apps.
