If students are using a Chromebook, MacBook, or Windows computer, but still see an error message
For the students who can't open a Submit assignment from a Chromebook, MacBook, or Windows computer running Chrome 72 or later, the problem might be that 3rd party cookies have been disabled. Please ask the students to allow 3rd-party cookies by:
- Navigating to chrome://settings/content/
cookies - Choosing "Allow all cookies"
How to find which version of Google Chrome you have
Another issue may be that the version of Chrome that your students are using is very outdated. To determine which version of Google Chrome your students are using:
- Open Google Chrome on your Mac or PC.
- Navigate to chrome://settings/help
- The version of your Google Chrome browser will appear on the next window, toward the top of the screen.
Going through this process will also prompt the browser to check if there are any updates available. If there are, you will be given the option to relaunch the browser to install those updates.
