Edit Google Classroom Assignment

Once you have created a Screencastify Submit assignment in Google Classroom, there are many different ways you can edit it, including:

• selecting the class that should receive the assignment,
• which students to add or remove from an assignment,
• and the point value, due date, and topic of the assignment.

To edit any of these settings, you can change the assignment directly in your Submit Dashboard, or from within Google Classroom. Here's a quick walkthrough of both ways:

Add the Point Value / Due Date / & Topic for your Assignment 

Once you have chosen the correct classroom to receive your assignment, you can also go in and add specific details! Here are a few examples:

• Choose all students, specific students or remove students you'd like to include or exclude:
  
  
  
  
• Add points or leave section "ungraded", if you'd prefer:
  
  
• Choose your desired Due Date:
  
  
• Finally you can link your new assignment to an already existing specific topic you've created within your Google Classroom Class:
  
  
  
  
• Click "Assign" to save your edits

Editing from Submit Dashboard

To edit a Submit Google Classroom assignment from the Submit Dashboard: 

1. Find the assignment in your Submit Dashboard
2. Click on the three dots menu next to the assignment name
   
   

Editing from Google Classroom

To edit a Assignment from Google Classroom: 

1. Find the assignment in your class dashboard by clicking on the class name
2. Click on the three dots menu next to the assignment name
3. Choose "Edit"
4. Click "Save" to complete these changes. 

To Add or Remove Students from an Assignment:

You are able to change which students have your assignment by editing the assignment within Google Classroom. 

1. Go back to the class dashboard by clicking on the class name
2. Click on the three dots menu next to the posting of the assignment and choose "Edit"
3. Click on the dropdown under "For" and choose which student(s) you would like to assign this classwork. 
4. Click "Save" to complete these changes.
